AES Air Pollution 2010

Here is the official report on the amount of air pollution our power plant spewed out in 2010 (when running at less than 5% of capacity):

This report shows AES belching out tons of pollutants despite running at less than 5% of capacity.  Imagine what a new plant will spew out when running closer to full capacity so that AES can maximize their corporate return on investment.

AES is starting their paperwork now to repower.  The time for resident action is NOW!

On start up, the AES Plant pollutants are visible. This shows the path of the normally invisible pollutants while the plant is running. Despite running at only 5% of capacity AES Redondo spews tons of pollutants every year placing it in the top 100 air polluters in the state.
